My mission is to help children learn techniques to stay calm and in control for the rest of their lives. Yoga is a great way for kids to develop physical and emotional skills to get them happy and peaceful on and off the mat!

I first started practicing yoga 10 years ago and still can't get enough! I love finding the balance between challenging my body and maintaining a calm mindset. As a Special Education teacher, I've found that the breathing techniques we use in yoga class are even more helpful in everyday stressful situations. Whether students are frustrated in class or angry at recess, a deep breath and positive outlook does wonders in helping children find a solution. These skills are vital for creating a future generation of compassionate and caring adults.

I am so excited to combine my passion for teaching with my love of yoga!
